Overview

Biography

A former Onondaga County attorney who provided legal counsel to 49 departments and agencies of the county as well as the Onondaga County Legislature, Tony primarily concentrates his practice on municipal law and public finance. He represents industrial development agencies in connection with straight-lease transactions and advises clients on a variety of issues, including the Public Authorities Accountability Act.

Tony has over 30 years of legal experience representing Upstate New York towns and villages in matters that include zoning, legislation, litigation, contracts, acquisitions, and eminent domain. He has represented the Onondaga County Industrial Development Agency for many years and as a result has been involved in many economic-development projects, such as Destiny USA and Onondaga Lake cleanup efforts. Tony has represented the Towns of Lysander, Salina, Cicero, Pompey, Schroeppel, and Hastings and the Village of Liverpool. His municipal practice has extended over the last 35 years, including eight years as the Onondaga County attorney.
