Overview

Biography

David is an experienced trial lawyer who focuses on defending injury and property-damage claims, with an emphasis on fire-loss litigation, construction-site liability, toxic-tort litigation, and claims arising out of the transmission and distribution of electric power. He also focuses on defending professional-liability actions and environmental matters, including citizen suits, petroleum-discharge claims, and enforcement litigation brought by federal and state authorities for contamination resulting from the disposal of hazardous waste. David has successfully tried a variety of cases to verdict in both federal and state courts, and he is experienced in every phase of the civil litigation process, including mediation and appeals.

David’s clients have included multinational, publicly traded manufacturing companies, large underwriters of commercial and specialty lines of insurance, municipalities, common carriers, construction companies and contractors, legal professionals, an international petrochemical manufacturer, and a statewide electric-utility company.

  • Represents an environmental-cleanup contractor in a personal-injury matter resulting from a chemical explosion.
  • Represented a major WNY construction company in personal-injury litigation arising out of the construction of the Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls, New York.
