Overview

Biography

Jeff has extensive experience counseling clients from a range of industries on their intellectual property rights, with an emphasis on trademark protection. He has represented clients in the financial, entertainment, fashion, pharmaceutical, and quick-service restaurant industries, among others.

Jeff focuses on acquiring and protecting trademark rights both domestically and internationally. He counsels clients; performs trademark clearance searches and due diligence; and prepares, files, prosecutes, maintains, and renews trademark applications and registrations. His practice often involves responding to office actions before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Moreover, Jeff enforces trademark rights through proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). Jeff also drafts agreements related to intellectual property rights and handles applications for registration of copyrightable works with the US Copyright Office.
