Litigation and Labor & Employment Associate (New Haven)

Barclay Damon LLP, a leading regional law firm of nearly 300 attorneys that operates from a strategic platform of offices located in Albany, Boston, Buffalo, New Haven, New York City, Rochester, Syracuse, Washington DC, and Toronto, is seeking an associate for its New Haven office to be part of the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Torts & Products Liability Defense Practice Areas with a secondary affiliation with the Labor & Employment Practice Area.

The associate should have a minimum of three years of litigation experience, which could include prior experience as a clerk. Experience handling all aspects of litigation files is preferred; experience with labor and employment legal issues will also be highly regarded. Candidates must be licensed to practice in Connecticut, and a dual bar in New York State or a willingness to seek admission to practice in New York is preferred. Candidates must have superior verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills and have demonstrated abilities to work directly with clients and to develop and execute service strategies.
