Barclay Damon LLP, a leading regional law firm of approximately 300 attorneys that operates from a strategic platform of offices located in the Northeastern United States, Washington DC, and Toronto, is seeking an associate attorney for its Torts & Insurance Practice Group, including the Torts & Products Liability Defense and Insurance Coverage & Regulation Practice Areas. The position will be based in our Rochester office. 

Candidates must have solid academic credentials; have at least two years of civil litigation experience; be licensed to practice in New York State; have superior verbal, writing, and interpersonal skills; and have demonstrated abilities and a desire to work directly with clients and develop and execute service strategies. Prior experience as a court or appellate clerk will also be considered.

Salary Range: $110,000 to $125,000.

This salary range represents the firm’s good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for the position and does not include performance- or merit-based bonuses or other benefits offered by the firm. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, skill set, and office location.
