Aleece Burgio Interviewed on Legalizing Recreational Marijuana in NYS for Buffalo Business First

Aleece Burgio, Cannabis Team leader, is quoted in Buffalo Business First in “Attorney Aleece Burgio Lays Down the (Cannabis) Law” about how the push to legalize recreational marijuana in New York State has taken on new urgency this year. Aleece spoke about how the cannabis industry has the potential to bring jobs to the greater Buffalo area.

“[Legalized marijuana] is going to create a lot of new businesses in Buffalo. You are already starting to see proposals around dispensaries, growing, and processing operations . . . That will generate a lot of jobs and momentum behind the cannabis industry, which is a very big deal here because it is a new source of employment.”
