Aleece Burgio Interviewed on Proposed Legalization of Recreational Marijuana in Connecticut for New Haven BIZ

Aleece Burgio, Cannabis Team leader, is quoted in New Haven BIZ in “Cannabis Counseling: Recreational Marijuana Could Mean Bigger Business for Law Firms” about how Connecticut’s proposed legislation to legalize recreational marijuana will mean more work for attorneys. Aleece commented on how the cannabis industry has led to growth for Barclay Damon, stating, “It has been successful. Aleece went into further detail about how New York State’s legalization of recreational adult-use marijuana has impacted her own legal practice and her role as the host of the Cannabis Counselor podcast. She also explains how legalized marijuana will affect employers’ policies regarding marijuana use, such as preemployment drug testing policies.
