Brad Gallagher Interviewed by Pharma IQ About Cybersecurity in the Pharmaceutical Industry

Brad Gallagher, Health Care Controversies Team co-leader, was interviewed by Pharma IQ in “Strengthening Cybersecurity in the Pharmaceutical Industry,” regarding how pharmaceutical companies can balance innovation with robust cybersecurity.

Brad also discussed how, while recent regulations and laws have increased security, data breaches and other threats are still omnipresent due to outdated systems and lack of preparedness. “These technological advances are going to help lead the next wave of prevention, detection, and response,” Brad said. “They will hopefully make it harder for attackers to be successful; however, the counterpoint is that they also may result in more sophisticated attacks as well.”
