Melissa Bennett Named City & State New York Albany 40 Under 40 Honoree

Melissa Bennett, partner, has been named a City & State New York 2022 Albany 40 Under 40 honoree. The article profiling each of the honorees, who are the “best and brightest of the bunch,” states, “While the state capital has historically been the kind of place that puts a premium on seniority and experience, it has in recent years seen the rise of a new generation of elected officials in their 20s and 30s who aren’t waiting decades before getting a seat at the table.”

Melissa’s profile highlights key moments in her journey to becoming an attorney as well as her early career at Barclay Damon. The article states, “Early on at Barclay Damon, Bennett made it a priority to continually learn, carrying a legal pad everywhere to take notes—which resulted in her becoming a partner at the firm two and a half years ago.”

In her profile, Melissa said “that one of her favorite aspects of working in public finance is seeing ‘projects that have a public good come to fruition’ and working with others in the field toward a bigger-picture goal.”

Congratulations to Melissa for being selected as a City & State New York 2022 Albany 40 Under 40 honoree.
