Melissa Zambri Appointed Chair of Proctors Collaborative Board of Directors

Melissa Zambri, managing director of Barclay Damon’s Albany office, co-leader of the Health Care Practice Group, and co-leader of the Health & Human Services Providers and Health Care Teams, has been appointed chair of the board of directors for Proctors Collaborative, an initiative based in New York’s Capital Region. As board chair, Melissa will help lead Proctors in advancing its mission through the performing arts while ensuring strong governance and long-term sustainability.

Proctors Collaborative unites theaters that include Proctors, Capital Repertory Theatre, and Universal Preservation Hall as well as the Collaborative School of the Arts, Marquee Power, Open Stage Media, Schenectady-Saratoga Symphony Orchestra, and a suite of creative initiatives. In its press release, the collaborative said that Melissa’s appointment as chair “reflects both her dedication to the organization and her passion for ensuring access to high-quality performing arts experiences for the community. . . . A highly respected leader in health care law and regulatory compliance, she brings decades of governance, strategic oversight, and organizational leadership experience to her new role at Proctors.”
