NYMGMA eNewsletter: "Know Your Business Partners: New Requirements for Temporary Health Care Staffing Agencies"

Fran Ciardullo, special counsel, had her “Know Your Business Partners: New Requirements for Temporary Health Care Staffing Agencies” article published in the September 2023 issue of New York Beat, the monthly enewsletter from the New York Medical Group Management Association (NYMGMA). The article explores how a new Article 29-K of the New York Public Health Law seeks to regulate health care providers’ increased reliance on temporary health care service agencies due to staffing shortages.

The article states, “This law imposes minimum standards for agencies, including requirements for annual registration with the Department of Health (DOH), contract provisions, and the submission of detailed reports on their operations.”
