Tom Cronmiller Co-Presents at URMIA Boston 2019 Conference

Tom Cronmiller, Professional Liability Practice Area chair, presented “University Concussion Injury Litigation and Improving Your Prevention Protocols” at the URMIA Boston 2019 Conference with Michaele DeHart, Syracuse University management director, September 19 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel.

The presentation focused on the legal and ethical duties related to supervision, evaluation, treatment, and monitoring in the administration of college athletics programs; recognizing risk management opportunities to improve safety for student athletes suspected of or sustaining concussive injuries; and the collaborative obligations of notification, warning, and information disclosure pertaining to the effects of concussive injuries.
