Accomplished Health Care Regulatory Attorney Bob Hussar Rejoins Barclay Damon

Barclay Damon announces Bob Hussar, of counsel, has rejoined the firm. Hussar, a leading health care regulatory and compliance attorney noted for his experience as the former first deputy for the NYS Office of the Medicaid Inspector General, was previously a partner at Barclay Damon. Most recently, Hussar was a partner in Rivkin Radler’s Albany office. He is a member of the firm’s Health & Human Services Providers and Health Care Controversies Teams.

Hussar has over 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors, providing advice and strategic direction on Medicare, Medicaid, and other payor, regulatory, compliance, licensure, and reimbursement issues. In addition to his compliance work, he represents individuals and organizations on NYS Justice Center matters.

“I am thrilled to be returning to Barclay Damon and am looking forward to continuing the important regulatory work I have been doing,” Hussar said. “The firm’s already substantial Health Care Practice Group has gained even more bench depth and breadth, and I’m excited to collaborate with my colleagues—new and old—to provide top-notch legal services.”

Chris Greene, Health Care Practice Group leader, said, “We were ecstatic to learn that Bob was interested in coming back to Barclay Damon. His wealth of experience in the ever-changing health care industry is of invaluable benefit to existing and new clients alike. Returning to the firm also gives Bob’s clients access to Barclay Damon’s full range of legal services and highly skilled attorneys.”
