Barclay Damon is pleased to announce that Scott Bogucki has joined the firm as a partner in its Restructuring, Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Practice Area. He is based in the firm’s Buffalo office.
Bogucki represents businesses, creditors, financial institutions, trustees, and other stakeholders facing financial distress. His practice covers Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings, bankruptcy litigation, insolvency matters, out-of-court workouts and restructurings, debt enforcement actions, and creditors’ rights matters.
He has worked on prominent Chapter 11 cases, including those of General Motors, American Airlines, and Reader’s Digest, as well as matters related to recovery efforts arising from the Bernard L. Madoff Ponzi scheme.
