Attorney Aleece Burgio Joins Barclay Damon

June 12, 2019—Barclay Damon announces Aleece Burgio has joined the firm as special counsel. Burgio will work out of the Buffalo office.

Burgio is a member of the Corporate Practice Area and health care and cannabis teams. Her primary focus is structuring, licensing, and maintaining compliant hemp-derived cannabis businesses at the federal, state, and local levels. Burgio began her legal career at a Portland, Oregon-based law firm and has experience working with both public- and private-sector clients, including state regulatory agencies, financial institutions, and licensed businesses. Prior to Barclay Damon, she worked as senior counsel at McGuire Development.
