Barclay Damon announces Geoff Young has joined Barclay Damon as a partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials and Trademarks, Copyrights & Licensing Practice Areas, based in the New York City office.
Young focuses his practice on solving complex legal problems, including high-stakes disputes and internal investigations, with an emphasis on anticipating and managing reputational and regulatory risks. His litigation experience spans regulated industries, including those related to complex commercial matters, intellectual property matters, professional liability matters, data privacy and biometric matters, domestic and international arbitration, and regulatory compliance.

Throughout his career, Young has gained broad experience litigating disputes across a variety of industries including aviation, biotech, financial services, media and entertainment, energy, real estate, technology, and transportation. He has tried cases across multiple jurisdictions, including New York State and federal courts, and has handled domestic and international trade arbitrations subject to a wide range of rules promulgated by various alternative dispute resolution institutions. Prior to joining Barclay Damon, Young was a partner at a national, mid-sized law firm.
