December 15, 2021—Barclay Damon has launched its third podcast series under the Barclay Damon Live umbrella, the Labor & Employment Podcast. Ari Kwiatkowski hosts the podcast, which has weekly episodes for employers covering a wide range of timely topics pertaining to labor and employment issues in the workplace, including:

•    Responding to a variety of extraordinary workplace situations
•    Complying with state and federal anti-discrimination and harassment laws
•    Handling wage and hour and misclassification audits
•    Onboarding, disciplining, and offboarding employees
•    Developing workplace policies, trainings, and employee handbooks
•    Managing a unionized workforce
•    Complying with the National Labor Relations Act

The Labor & Employment Podcast provides listeners with important updates regarding ever-evolving state and federal labor and employment laws. The podcast explores labor and employment issues in different sectors, including health care, higher education, and manufacturing to name a few. The podcast’s guests include attorneys and experts in the field to bring listeners the most up-to-date information about all things labor and employment. The Labor & Employment Podcast is available on Barclay Damon’s website, YouTube, LinkedIn, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts.

“I’m excited to be the host of the Labor & Employment Podcast,” said Kwiatkowski. “As we’ve navigated this landscape—especially during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic—we’ve learned a lot and want to pass our knowledge on to the professionals who need it most. Our concise yet comprehensive delivery is ideal for listeners who need information quickly.”

Labor & Employment Practice Group leader Rosemary Enright said, “It’s been a pleasure to create this podcast with Ari. Her charisma is refreshing, and I think she makes a great host.” She added, “Each episode is part of a four- or five-episode segment. The first segment is about navigating issues surrounding COVID-19. With such timely topics, I’m eagerly awaiting people’s reaction to the podcast.”

Connie Cahill, the firm’s managing partner, said, “The Labor & Employment Podcast is a great addition to our thriving Labor & Employment Practice Area. Ari was a natural choice for a host, as she has quickly become one of the practice area’s go-to resources. The labor and employment space is incredibly nuanced, and we’re positive that the podcast will be well received and considered an invaluable resource by listeners.”
