Barclay Damon Relocates Albany Office as Part of Continued NY Capital Region Investment

Barclay Damon, a leading regional law firm with offices across New York and the Northeast and in Washington DC and Toronto, has relocated its Albany office to a new space at 4 Tower Place, 10th Floor, Albany, New York 12203. The move reinforces the firm’s enduring commitment to New York’s Capital Region and supports continued growth in one of the firm’s long-standing markets.

The new location’s central setting, easy access for clients, and modern facilities were driving factors in the firm’s decision. The space is designed to support evolving workplace needs and strengthen collaboration among attorneys and staff across practices and offices. It includes multifunctional conference and meeting facilities and amenities conducive to both in-person and hybrid work.

Melissa Zambri, managing director of Barclay Damon’s Albany office, said, “The new space demonstrates our commitment to the Capital Region and the clients we serve while providing space to support the office’s growth and future needs.” She added, “We are excited about this next chapter and look forward to building on the strong relationships we have established across our platform.”

“This move reflects Barclay Damon’s dedication to one of the firm’s key locations,” said Connie Cahill, managing partner. “Providing our attorneys and professional staff with exceptional workplaces supports teamwork, innovation, and client service. The new office is an investment in our people, our clients, and the communities we serve while helping to position us for continued success for years to come.”

The opening of the new Albany office follows the expansion of the firm’s Boston office and the move of its New Haven office to newly updated and larger spaces, both announced in June, and the relocation of its New York City office within Rockefeller Center to a renovated, significantly expanded space on the building’s 23rd floor, announced a year ago. The New York move effectively doubled the firm’s space and office count in that market as part of a continued investment in its growing major-market offices in New York, Boston, New Haven, and Washington DC.

Barclay Damon has maintained a significant presence in Albany for decades and traces part of its Albany heritage to predecessor firms whose roots in the region extend back more than a century. Today, the office is home to attorneys representing businesses, government entities, educational institutions, health care providers, developers, financial institutions, insurers, individuals, and others across a broad range of practices.

Barclay Damon attorneys team across offices and practices to provide customized, targeted solutions grounded in industry knowledge and a deep understanding of our clients' businesses. With approximately 300 attorneys, Barclay Damon is a leading regional law firm that operates from a strategic platform of offices in Albany, Boston, Buffalo, New Haven, New York City, Rochester, Syracuse, Washington DC, and Toronto. Our firm serves clients across the country and, for some practices, provides US legal services around the globe. For more information, visit our award-winning website at Homepage | Barclay Damon.
