Business First Names Barclay Damon Legal "Company Of The Year"

BUFFALO, NY "” December 23, 2015 "” Buffalo Business First has named Barclay Damon, LLP "Company of the Year" for 2015 in the legal category.

The firm is one of ten Western New York-based businesses to receive this honor. The publication bases its selections on factors that range from expanding facilities and increasing workforces to undertaking projects and dominating headlines with significant news. "If you aren't following these companies, it's time to start," according to Business First. "They have big things ahead."

The issue features an interview with Barclay Damon's co-managing directors of the Buffalo office, James P. Domagalski and Peter S. Marlette, in which Mr. Domagalski says, "All of our attorneys in Buffalo feel very connected to what's going on in the street"”the renovation, excitement, and energy. And we feel that the firm is a big part of the story in 2015."

Mr. Marlette added about the 2015 joining of the law firms Hiscock & Barclay and Damon Morey, which created Barclay Damon, "Both firms were ready to take the next step. The fact that we started talking and it just made so much sense really made the combination exciting."
