Former Labor and Employment Law Chair Brian Culnan Joins Barclay Damon

September 18, 2018—Barclay Damon announces the arrival of Brian Culnan, partner, to the firm's Albany office. He joins Barclay Damon as a member of the Health Care Controversies, Labor & Employment, and Commercial Litigation Practice Areas. Culnan was the long-time chair of the Labor and Employment Practice Group at Iseman Cunningham Riester & Hyde, LLP.

With over 25 years of state and federal litigation experience, Culnan concentrates on litigation involving hospital credentialing and discipline decisions; managed care liability; health insurers' contractual rights of recovery; Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement; and Article 78 proceedings. He also helps clients navigate professional misconduct investigations and governmental investigations for federal Stark, HIPAA, EMTALA, and ADA statutes violations.

Culnan additionally handles employment matters involving employment discrimination, discharge and termination, enforcement of restrictive covenants, protection of trade secrets and other proprietary business information, whistleblower and retaliation claims, wage-and-hour claims, and ERISA.
