David Fulvio, Sarah O’Brien, and Bridget Steele, all formerly counsel, and Michael Scott-Kristansen, formerly special counsel, have become partners, effective January 1.
Fulvio is a member of the Torts & Products Liability Defense and Professional Liability Practice Areas. He represents clients at hearings, trials, motions, and conferences in state and federal courts. He also frequently negotiates settlements with opposing counsel and through alternative dispute resolution. Fulvio also provides general legal counsel to municipalities during their day-to-day operations and at their public board meetings. He is based in Rochester.
O’Brien is a member of the Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials and Construction & Surety Practice Areas. She concentrates her practice on state and federal commercial litigation matters involving a variety of business disputes. O’Brien also handles commercial construction and surety matters and represents clients in securities and other complex financial products litigation. She is based in Buffalo.
Scott-Kristansen is a member of the Health Care Controversies, Health & Human Services Providers, and Pharmacy Teams. He represents health care and human services providers in matters involving audits and investigations, reimbursement and billing, conditions of participation, regulatory compliance and enforcement, HIPAA compliance and breach investigations, insurance and payor disputes, licensing and professional discipline, and debt collection. Scott-Kristansen is based in Rochester.
Steele is a member of the Health & Human Services Providers, Health Care Controversies, and Pharmacy Teams and Data Security & Technology Practice Area. She assists health care and human services providers with a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters. Steele also assists clients with information privacy and security issues. She is based in Rochester.
