Hiscock & Barclay Attorney Linda Clark Speaks at National Asbestos Litigation Conference

Hiscock & Barclay, LLP Partner Linda J. Clark will be a featured speaker at the 15th Annual National Asbestos Litigation Conference being presented by HB Litigation Conferences on October 18, 2012 in Chicago, IL, where Clark will cover emerging issues and trends for mass tort cases in New York, an emerging hot bed jurisdiction in the national asbestos/mass tort arena.

Located in the firm's Albany office, Clark concentrates her practice in the areas of state and federal, commercial, mass tort, health care and class-action/group claim litigation. She has extensive experience representing Fortune 500 and national/global clients as national, regional and local counsel in commercial class/mass actions and toxic tort cases of many genres, including representation of large groups of business and institutional clients in class and group litigation. Clark's decades of experience as a litigator include the prosecution and defense to verdict of complex claims brought in state and federal court, resulting in landmark verdicts favorable to the defense. Her work on behalf of New York employer groups defending and prosecuting class/group claims arising out of the billion dollar catastrophic failure of New York's Self-Insured Trusts has earned her a statewide reputation for managing large group claims involving millions of dollars. Clark's 15 years of experience as regional, national and court-appointed liaison counsel and trial counsel in asbestos/mass tort litigation recently resulted in her being named to the 2012 Super Lawyer compendium and recognized in the highly regarded "Best Lawyers in America" registry with respect to class and mass tort litigation matters.
