Hiscock & Barclay Lawyers to Participate in NYSBA Foreclosure Seminar

John P. Sindoni, a partner at Hiscock & Barclay, LLP and Jennifer M.S. Byrne, Counsel at Hiscock & Barclay, will speak at the New York State Bar Association's Mortgage Foreclosures and Workouts seminar on April 27 at the Renaissance Syracuse Hotel located at 701 East Genesee Street in Syracuse. Sindoni, who is the chairman for the event, will speak on several topics including, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, short sales, and the tax ramifications of foreclosure actions. Byrne will discuss the initial steps of mortgage foreclosure litigation and the issues that occur during the sale and after the sale of the mortgaged property. Sindoni's legal practice focuses on real estate and general business matters. He represents both residential and commercial mortgage lenders and numerous corporate clients in a variety of industries on all aspects of real estate law. Sindoni is the Chair of the firm's Real Estate Practice Area.

Byrne brings over 25 years of experience to her practice, which focuses on residential and commercial mortgage foreclosures, mortgage originations, evictions, debt collection, and real estate title issues.
