Hiscock & Barclay Partner Dennis McCoy Recognized as 2014 Defense Trial Lawyer of the Year

Buffalo, New York – December 11, 2014 – Hiscock & Barclay, LLP partner Dennis R. McCoy was honored with the Defense Trial Lawyers of Western New York's Robert M. Kiebala Memorial Award and recognized as the 2014 Defense Trial Lawyer of the Year at the association's annual meeting on December 3 in Buffalo.

The award is given to an attorney who best exemplifies the association's mission of promoting the highest standard of trial conduct through member education and advocating the defense position in civil cases with the judiciary and where appropriate in the New York State Legislature.

McCoy is a senior litigator and a member of the firm's Professional Liability, Torts & Products Liability Defense, Commercial Litigation, and Insurance Coverage & Regulation Practice Areas. McCoy concentrates much of his practice on the representation of clients in major, complex litigation at trial. He also frequently represents professionals in malpractice actions, primarily legal and health care professionals.
