Hiscock & Barclay Partner Melissa Zambri to Present on 2010 Developments in Regulatory Compliance and Fraud and Abuse for the Health Care Industry at State Bar Conference

Hiscock & Barclay, LLP Albany Partner, Melissa Zambri will be a featured panelist at the Health Law Section Annual Meeting hosted by the New York State Bar Association on January 26 from 9 a.m. to 430 p.m., at the Hilton New York. Zambri will give a presentation entitled "Regulatory Compliance and Fraud and Abuse," an update on 2010 developments.

Zambri is Chair of the Committee on Fraud, Abuse and Compliance for the New York State Bar Association's Health Law Section. She practices in the area of health care law focusing on the enterprise development and regulatory guidance for those in the health care industry. Zambri provides counsel to individual practitioners, owners, administrators, executives and employees of health care and health care-related facilities, including physicians, licensed medical personnel, hospitals, clinics, home health agencies, senior residences and assisted living facilities, providers of services to the developmentally disabled, laboratories, health care trade associations, durable medical equipment providers, alcohol and substance abuse treatment facilities, physician practice management companies, mental health programs and medical transportation companies. She frequently writes and lectures on a variety of health law topics and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Management at Union Graduate College, teaching "Legal Aspects of Healthcare."

Recently, Zambri gave compliance training at a meeting of the Western Region of the New York State Day Services Providers where she discussed regulatory compliance for providers who serve the developmentally disabled.
