Hiscock & Barclay Partner Richard Capozza Participated in Premier Legal Marketing Panel

Hiscock & Barclay, LLP, Business Development and Client Relations Partner Richard R. Capozza spoke at the 16th Annual Marketing Partner Forum 2009. The three-day event, beginning on January 28th at the St. Regis in Dana Point, California, continues to be the premier event for senior-level marketing and business development professionals, marketing partners and managing partners.

Capozza spoke on a panel entitled "Incentivizing and Motivating Sales Professionals" on January 29th. Other panelists joining the discussion included Thomas A. Ryan, former VP of Global Account Marketing Operations, Xerox Global Services Group, Steven M. Bell, National Director of Sales of Womble Caryle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC, and Gabriel Miller, General Counsel at The Law Offices of James Sokolove, LLC.

As law firms face a more competitive and challenging business climate in this crisis economy, client development has never been more critical. Capozza's session covered various motivational and incentive based practices with the key objective of keeping firms' top producers challenged and motivated.

In addition to his business development and clients relationship roles, Capozza also chairs Hiscock & Barclay's Environmental Practice Area and the Energy & Utilities Practice Area. He focuses his practice in the area of environmental law with a concentration in CERCLA/Superfund, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance/permitting, project siting and transactional due diligence.
