Jamila Lee Joins Barclay Damon

Barclay Damon announces Jamila Lee, counsel, has joined Barclay Damon’s Trusts & Estates Practice Area. Her primary office location is Buffalo.

Lee concentrates her practice on trusts and estates matters, representing individuals, families, and fiduciaries in estate planning, estate and trust administration, and complex probate proceedings. She provides a full range of estate planning services, including drafting wills, trusts, advance directives, and marital agreements.

Prior to joining Barclay Damon, Lee served in several key roles with the Erie County Surrogate’s Court, including deputy chief clerk, court attorney, and confidential investigator. In these positions, she developed a comprehensive understanding of the New York Surrogate’s Court Procedure Act; Estate, Powers, and Trusts Law; and Domestic Relations Law.

“Jamila’s extensive experience within the Surrogate’s Court system gives her a unique perspective that enhances the value she brings to our clients,” said Jen Flannery, Trusts & Estates Practice Area co-chair and Erie County public administrator. “Her deep understanding of court procedures and fiduciary responsibilities will be an invaluable asset to individuals and families navigating complex estate matters.”
