Pablo Kim Joins Barclay Damon

Barclay Damon announces Pablo Kim, special counsel, has joined Barclay Damon’s Property Tax & Condemnation, Project Development, and Energy Practice Areas. His primary office location is Newark.

Kim focuses his practice on real estate valuation and assessment, administrative real property tax appeals, and real property tax litigation. He has represented hundreds of clients in property tax assessment matters, achieving reduced litigation costs and millions in property tax reductions. Kim utilizes various assessment methodologies, including income capitalization, discounted cash flow, and comparable sales methods, to analyze and derive market values for a wide array of property types, including energy generation and transmission facilities, industrial facilities, multimillion-dollar office buildings, retail spaces, multifamily residences, parking decks, hotels, high-value residential properties, and vacant lots. His clients have included Fortune 500 companies, real estate management firms, small businesses, and residential property owners.

Prior to joining Barclay Damon, Kim was a partner at a boutique real estate and property tax firm in New Jersey. He also gained experience as a law clerk with a firm in East Orange, New Jersey, and as a paralegal specialist noncommissioned officer in the US Army National Guard.
