Six Hiscock & Barclay Syracuse Attorneys Selected for Best Lawyers in America

Thirteen Hiscock & Barclay, LLP attorneys, including six in the Syracuse office, have been selected for inclusion in the 2011 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, one of the oldest and most respected peer-review publications in the legal profession.

The current edition of Best Lawyers is based on more than 3.9 million detailed evaluations of lawyers by other lawyers who selected the following six Hiscock & Barclay attorneys from the Firm's Syracuse office – half of them are dually recognized as sole "Lawyers of the Year" in their respective fields as well:

  • George S. Deptula (Of Counsel) is listed under the Best Lawyers categories of Banking and Finance Law as well as Corporate Law. Mr. Deptula was also named the Best Lawyers' 2012 Syracuse Corporate Law Lawyer of the Year. Only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community is bestowed this honor as the "Lawyer of the Year."
  • Frederick S. Marty (Partner) is listed under the Best Lawyers category of Trusts and Estates.
  • Kevin R. McAuliffe (Partner) is listed under the Best Lawyers category of Project Finance Law.
  • Judith M. Sayles (Partner) is listed under the Best Lawyers category of Product Liability Litigation/Defendants. Ms. Sayles was also named the Best Lawyers' 2012 Syracuse Product Liability Litigation – Defendants Lawyer of the Year. Only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community is bestowed this honor as the "Lawyer of the Year."
  • John P. Sindoni (Partner) is listed under the Best Lawyers category of Real Estate Law.
  • Gerald F. Stack (Partner) is listed under the Best Lawyers category of Tax Law. Mr. Stack was also named the Best Lawyers' 2012 Syracuse Tax Law Lawyer of the Year. Only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community is bestowed this honor as the "Lawyer of the Year."
