With over two decades of experience, Ian focuses his practice on insurance coverage disputes, torts, and products liability defense. He has extensive experience representing corporate clients in complex litigation, including insurance coverage matters governed by ERISA and state law as well as products liability cases involving pharmaceutical and consumer products. During his career, Ian has briefed, argued, and succeeded on many commercial and insurance-related appeals throughout New York State and federal courts.
As former senior counsel for one of the largest global providers of insurance, annuities, and employee benefits programs, Ian draws upon his experience to advise insurers on reducing potential liability, resolving disputes, and mitigating litigation risk to achieve successful outcomes. Ian has significant negotiation and alternative dispute resolution experience, and he has additional e-discovery experience.
