Imad represents health care providers, pharmacies, and other businesses and organizations in a variety of litigation, regulatory, and compliance matters. His practice includes complex commercial litigation, contract and insurance reimbursement disputes, administrative hearings, and Article 78 proceedings challenging New York State agency determinations, and he prosecutes and defends claims at every stage.
He handles Medicare and Medicaid audits, overpayment disputes, and administrative appeals, including matters involving the New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) and Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs). Imad also represents providers and licensed professionals in regulatory and licensing disputes involving the New York State Department of Health (DOH), Office of Professional Medical Conduct (OPMC), Office of Professional Discipline (OPD), and New York State Justice Center for the Protection of People With Special Needs.
