The former Erie County assistant district attorney and bureau chief and the former NYS Attorney General Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU) Rochester regional director, Jerry primarily concentrates his practice on representing health care providers and facilities in various defense, advisement, and compliance matters. He has extensive experience handling investigations and prosecutions of white-collar fraud involving the NYS Medicaid program, the Medicare program, and third-party insurers as well as allegations of abuse and neglect in health care facilities.
Jerry has coordinated investigations with the US Department of Health and Human Services, the NYS Office of the Medicaid Inspector General, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the US Department of Justice, and other investigative agencies. Jerry has also worked closely with health care providers and their counsel on “self-referrals” to the MFCU, OMIG, and HHS-OIG.
