"Hard work, persistence, and strategic planning are the keys to achieving success for my clients."

Overview

Biography

Kyra represents companies and individuals in a wide array of business disputes and government enforcement matters, particularly in commercial litigation, internal investigations, and white-collar defense. She has worked with clients in internal government investigations at every stage, including federal and state civil and criminal investigations; tax appeals; False Claims Act cases; self-disclosures; and subpoena compliance matters in state, federal, and appellate courts and administrative tribunals.

Kyra also regularly advises and advocates for clients in minority and women-owned business enterprise (MWBE) certification appeals, has advised a large higher education client on an array of inquiries, and assists with trademark litigation. Kyra has successfully appealed numerous adverse determinations from Empire State Development to secure MWBE certification for her clients.

Kyra brings a strategic, hands-on approach to investigations and litigation. Her experience includes drafting critical litigation documents and dispositive motions from the earliest stages of a case through judgment or settlement; negotiating pre-litigation resolutions; handling favorable settlements; preparing matters for trial; and handling investigations from interviews, report drafting, client discussions, and termination or reporting decisions. She has obtained successful rulings on motions to dismiss, judgments, and settlements and possesses valuable trial experience. Kyra routinely appears in court for oral arguments, hearings, and conferences, working closely with clients at every stage to align legal strategy with their goals and to determine the best course of action.

Recognized for her thoughtful approach to sensitive and multifaceted matters, Kyra offers clients practical guidance and strong advocacy, whether resolving disputes through litigation or navigating parallel investigations and regulatory scrutiny.
