Andy Oppenheimer Featured in Law360 Article About Joining Barclay Damon

Andy Oppenheimer, partner, was featured in the Law360 article “Barclay Damon Lands Tax Partner From Hodgson Russ” about what drew him to the firm and his experience with tax and transactional matters.

About joining the firm, Andy said, “Barclay Damon’s growth-minded culture and vision for the future drew me to the firm, as well as the opportunity to work with and learn from great lawyers.”

Additionally, Andy spoke to Law360 about work he’s done in the past. The article states, “Oppenheimer said his most significant work was structuring and negotiating the qualifying transactions for two Canadian special-purpose acquisition companies in the cannabis industry, including the first SPAC in the cannabis space, which close in 2019.” About this work, Andy said, “Both of these transactions were challenging and rewarding because of their complexity and novelty.”
