Oliver Young Receives Buffalo Business First IDEA Award

Oliver Young, of counsel, was named a 2022 IDEA (Inclusion Diversity Equity Awareness) Award winner by Buffalo Business First, joining educators, entrepreneurs, and attorneys as honorees. Fifteen people and seven organizations were chosen from nearly 50 nominations for championing diversity and inclusion.

While diversity represents demographic differences such as race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and disability, inclusion means a feeling of belonging and how well employees are valued, respected, accepted, and encouraged to participate in an organization.

Oliver answered a number of questions for a profile in Buffalo Business First. About how he would improve Western New York, Oliver said, “I would make sure that everyone, including the homeless, has adequate housing. Evidence of towns and cities in decline is substandard housing stock, which contribute to a number of other social ills. Improving the living standards of the people will lead to the betterment of the community.”

Oliver’s profile is available to Buffalo Business First subscribers here.
