Barclay Damon announces Cristina Salamone has joined the firm as a partner in its Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials and Labor & Employment Practice Areas, based in the firm's New Haven office.
With more than 15 years of experience, Salamone represents businesses and business owners in commercial litigation, employment disputes, and other complex business matters. She advises clients on a broad range of contractual, employment, and business governance issues, helping them navigate disputes, manage risk, and achieve their business objectives.
Salamone’s practice focuses on commercial litigation involving business contracts, partnership agreements, business-owner disputes, and dissolution matters. She works closely with companies and entrepreneurs to develop practical, cost-effective strategies for resolving conflicts while protecting their long-term interests.
In addition to her commercial litigation experience, Salamone counsels employers on labor and employment matters, including workplace disputes, employee discipline and termination, restrictive covenant agreements, employment policies, and employee handbooks. She also advises businesses on regulatory and compliance issues affecting their operations.
“Cristina's experience at the intersection of commercial litigation and employment law enhances our ability to provide strategic counsel to businesses facing complex legal and operational challenges,” said Carolyn Marcotte Crowley, co-chair of Barclay Damon’s Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials Practice Area. “Her arrival further strengthens our litigation and employment capabilities in Connecticut and across the Northeast.”
The addition of Salamone reflects Barclay Damon's continued investment in serving businesses throughout Connecticut and beyond with sophisticated counsel in these key areas of legal need. As businesses continue to face increasingly complex contractual, workforce, and regulatory challenges, Salamone’s practical perspective and dispute-resolution experience are an invaluable asset to clients in need of a trusted advisor and experienced trial counsel in high-stakes business issues. Her practice is centered on helping organizations proactively manage risk, resolve disputes efficiently, and position themselves for long-term success.
