Gillian Woolf, a partner in Barclay Damon’s Boston office, was named one of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s 2024 “Top Women of Law” honorees. Each year, Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly honors women attorneys who have made tremendous professional strides and demonstrated great accomplishments in the legal field, including in pro bono, social justice, advocacy, and business. This award celebrates the achievements of exceptional women lawyers who are pioneers, educators, trailblazers, and role models. Woolf and the other honorees will be recognized at an awards ceremony on November 12 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts.

Woolf’s practice focuses on defending commercial claims. She handles multiparty cases involving negligence, malpractice, errors and omissions, bad-faith claims, real estate disputes, products liability, wrongful-death claims, breach of contracts, and municipal liability. Woolf also represents primary and excess insurers in insurance coverage litigation arising out of construction, advertising injury, and municipal claims and defends businesses, homeowners, and real estate professionals against claims involving director and officer, premises, and professional liability as well as property-transaction disputes.
