Barclay Damon announces that Celine Dorsainvil, associate, has joined the firm’s Data Security & Technology and Trademarks, Copyrights & Licensing Practice Areas. Her primary office is New York City.
Dorsainvil assists clients in a wide range of industries—including consumer products, retail, products utilizing artificial intelligence, nonfungible tokens (NFTs), and web3—with protecting, transferring, and commercializing their intellectual property assets. She advises major tech companies on a variety of state, federal, and global privacy and consumer protection laws. Dorsainvil negotiates and drafts IP and technology-focused commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, collaboration agreements, terms and conditions, and IP licensing agreements. She monitors global data privacy and content moderation bills to identify compliance concerns and develop impact litigation strategies.
Dorsainvil has participated in proceedings before the Federal Trade Commission and the Federal Communications Commission and in regulatory matters before the United States Supreme Court and federal and global organizations, including the National Telecommunications and Information Administration and the United Nations.
Prior to joining Barclay Damon, Dorsainvil was an associate and summer associate in the New York City office of an Am Law 200 firm. She also gained relevant experience as a student director and student attorney for the George Washington University Law School Small Business and Community Economic Development Legal Clinic and a summer honors graduate intern for the New York City Law Department’s Economic Development Division.
