Dhruthi Batchu Joins Barclay Damon

Barclay Damon announces Dhruthi Batchu, associate, has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation, Commercial Litigation, and Trademarks, Copyrights & Licensing Practice Areas. Her primary office is Boston.

Batchu focuses her practice on intellectual property and business litigation, including trademark and patent litigation in federal courts relating to pharmaceuticals, gene sequencing, computer programs, diagnostic and medical devices, telecommunications, electronics, and water purification systems. Batchu also has extensive experience representing clients in contested matters and interparty proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Batchu also provides global marketing and branding advice, creates and manages clients’ trademark portfolios, conducts infringement analyses and screening searches, and coordinates filings, renewals, and office action responses.

Prior to joining Barclay Damon, Batchu was an intellectual property litigation associate at a law firm in Boston. She also gained relevant experience as a federal law clerk to Judge William G. Young in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts and as a litigation associate at a law firm in Hyderabad, India.
