JR Payne Named Associate After Admission to New York State Bar

Barclay Damon announces JR Payne has been admitted to the New York State Bar. Payne, a former law clerk at Barclay Damon, is now an associate.

Payne is a member of Barclay Damon’s Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials Practice Area and is based in the firm’s Albany office. He graduated summa cum laude from Albany Law School, where he was subeditor for the Government Law Review. Payne’s experience includes a law clerk position with a firm in Albany, a summer associate position at Barclay Damon, and as a pro bono intern with a not-for-profit human service agency.
