Mark Rokow Joins Barclay Damon

Barclay Damon announces Mark Rokow, associate, has joined Barclay Damon’s Tax Practice Area. His primary office is Rochester.

Rokow concentrates his practice on tax matters. He has experience with mergers and acquisitions, specifically evaluating state and local tax exposures related to income and non-income tax, and unclaimed property across all 50 states. Common issues within the field included nexus-generating activities and failure to file state income tax returns, misclassification of products and services for sales tax remittance, unclaimed property and related escheatment, multi-state employment tax withholding, and transfer tax (RETT/CITT) assessments. Mark has experience with both buy- and sell-side transactions for corporations, s-corporations, and disregarded entities.

Prior to joining Barclay Damon, Rokow was an associate in the state and local tax department of the mergers and acquisitions team at Big 4 accounting firm KPMG.
