Additionally, Mike Oropallo, Branding, Trademarks & Copyrights Practice Area co-chair and co-leader of the Outdoor & Wildlife Team, was named chair of the NYSBA Intellectual Property Law Section.
A long-time member of the NYSBA Environmental and Energy Law Section Executive Committee and Energy Committee co-chair, Hennessey primarily concentrates her practice on project siting and high-profile environmental and regulatory litigation in both administrative and judicial forums. She is well known for her strategic advice on navigating the ever-growing opposition to energy siting, with a strong focus on positioning clients to succeed in any resulting litigation. Hennessey also advises clients on a myriad of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory requirements that apply to project permitting and siting.
A first-chair trial lawyer with 30 years of wide-ranging complex civil trial experience, Oropallo regularly represents and counsels clients in complex patent, trademark, and intellectual property copyright disputes throughout the United States.
