Update: Joint Landowners Coalition's Lawsuit Against New York State

The March 7, 2014 return date in the Joint Landowners Coalition of New York’s ("JLC") lawsuit against the state seeking to compel finalization of the Supplemental Generic Environmental Impact Statement ("SGEIS") has been postponed to later this month (see http://hblaw.com/blog/energymatters/joint-landowners-coalition-sues-new-york-state-seeks-order-compeling-finalization-of-sgeis/).  So too has the related case brought by Norse Energy.   Due to the delay, the State has not yet responded to the JLC’s Complaint.   However, it is notable that the State has moved to dismiss Norse Energy’s action and is likely to take a similar approach in response to the JLC Complaint.
