Barclay Damon LLP is pleased to announce that it has welcomed 17 new law clerks: Steven Borodzik, Matthew Carroll, Danielle Cohen, Hailey Cornish, Taylia Hinds, Jack Jeschke, Rachael Judge, Alexa Levy, Nelly Lozano, Francesca Manzella, Matthew Marchiony, Nalani Marzan, Cole Mathews, Jaquelle Quenan, Garrett Reinard, Jyla Serfino, and Aimee Shepard. The 2026 class is the largest law clerk class in the firm's history—more than double the size of last year's class.
The record class reflects sustained growth across the firm's offices, practice areas, and industry teams, as well as increasing client demand for legal services. It also represents a significant investment in Barclay Damon's long-term attorney recruitment, development, retention, and succession planning strategy.

The class will work alongside attorneys in the firm’s Albany, Boston, Buffalo, New York City, Rochester, and Syracuse offices and contribute to client matters spanning corporate law, commercial litigation, labor and employment, health care, intellectual property, trusts and estates, real estate, insurance coverage, torts and products liability defense, mass and toxic torts, and professional liability.

The law clerks are graduates of Albany Law School, Howard University School of Law, Northeastern University School of Law, St. John's University School of Law, Syracuse University College of Law, and the University at Buffalo School of Law.
Fourteen of the 17 law clerks previously participated in Barclay Damon's Summer Associate Program, underscoring the firm's success in identifying, developing, and retaining top legal talent in an increasingly competitive legal recruiting market. Upon admission to practice in their respective jurisdictions, the law clerks will transition into associate roles, further strengthening the firm’s attorney pipeline.
