Barclay Damon announces Mikayla Sciscente and Imad Rafi have been admitted to the New York State Bar. The former law clerks are now associates at the firm.
Sciscente is a member of the firm’s Power & Energy Construction, Construction & Surety, and Commercial Litigation & Complex Trials Practice Areas. She graduated from the George Washington University School of Law. Sciscente assists with litigation support, including legal research and document drafting, cite checking and blue booking, analyzing information for depositions and discovery, summarizing deposition testimony, preparing deposition and trial exhibits, drafting exhibit lists and case notebooks, and other tasks related to the management of complex litigation. She also has extensive experience in all aspects of electronic discovery. Sciscente is based in the firm’s Washington DC office.
Rafi is a member of the firm’s Health Care Controversies and Health & Human Services Providers Teams. He graduated from Brooklyn Law School. Rafi assists with the representation of health care providers in a variety of matters, including compliance, regulatory, and transactional issues and complex disputes. He has experience drafting and reviewing a wide range of legal documents as well as reviewing and analyzing contracts to ensure compliance. Previously, Rafi was a legal intern for a not-for-profit home- and community-based health care organization and a not-for-profit integrated health care network and was a pharmacy technician. Rafi is based in the firm’s New York City office.
