Court Decides to Reconsider Decision Granting EQT Access to Conduct Seismic Testing

As a follow-up to our story on Monday, which reported that Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Judge Christine Ward authorized EQT to conduct seismic testing as soon as it paid a $25,000 bond, Judge Ward apparently has had second thoughts.  Yesterday, she granted a request by the landowners' attorney to reconsider her order.  Oral arguments are scheduled for February 7, 2014.
